"There is a sense of satisfaction in looking at your men all ready for the fray"
-- W. Somerset Maugham
Why tweak Boba Fett? To make him stronger and give him a minor of closer association. One advantage of having a full set is that you can make major corrections to the originals, including their minor support. Though we believe Greedo belongs somewhere in the set, he doesn’t even appear in the same movie as Boba Fett, let alone the same scene. Add to that, he weighs Boba down like a green albatross around his neck. Instead of powering up Greedo, which would make little sense given his screen persona, we think it better to just pair Boba Fett with a closer association such as Dengar, a character who not only appeared in the same scene as Boba Fett, but the very scene where Boba Fett was introduced. Dengar and Boba also have a working relationship in the extended universe. Inserting Dengar was done in context of the rest of the set, in which Greedo is paired with Jabba, Greedo’s only clear association.

Boba is not a bad 2v2 player in the original ED with the menace of THERMAL DETONATOR and his arsenal of big attacks. Pairing him with Dengar instead of Greedo gives him a viable minor to both do damage and draw enough fire away from Boba to help him compensate for his terrible staying power. Boba is clearly the game’s best ranged deck, a very valuable asset in 2v2, and with 2 legitimate targets on the board, they are a nasty, mid-tier duo.
