About Han Solo in the Star Wars Universe

Han Solo was a Human from Corellia who achieved galactic fame as a member of the Rebel Alliance and later the New Republic. Born on Corellia, he was orphaned at an early age and taken by the pirate Garris Shrike to serve on his crew. He was treated cruelly, and served Shrike for many years before escaping while in his teens. Solo became a smuggler, and fell in love with Bria Tharen, though she left him due to her duties to the Rebel Alliance. Solo then entered the Imperial Academy at Carida, serving with distinction. He was kicked out, however, when he stopped an Imperial officer from beating a Wookiee named Chewbacca with a neuronic whip. In gratitude, the Wookiee swore a life debt to Solo. He became a smuggler once again, with Chewbacca at his side. Piloting the Millennium Falcon, which he won in a game of Sabacc against Lando Calrissian, he became known as one of the best smugglers in the galaxy.

Themes: Tag-team buddies, luck, never out of it
Path to Victory: BOWCASTER + NEVER TELL ME THE ODDS + WOOKIE INSTINCTS then repeat
Strengths: BOWCASTER, strong minor, forced discarding, ability to reshuffle best cards back into deck
Weaknesses: Weak offense outside of BOWCASTER, major has very low staying power
Strategy: Keep enemies off you by switching up who’s in front. Try to get BOWCASTER out of Chewie and reshuffle, but remember that Han is the key to the deck.
Tier: 3

Notes: No changes to this deck, you know what to do: Keep them both alive long enough to use the dreaded BOWCASTER + NEVER TELL ME THE ODDS combination, using WOOKIE INSTINCTS to help you. If you can play BOWCASTER once, you have a chance to win. If you can play it twice, you probably will win. If you don’t play it at all, you will probably lose, but even then Han always has a chance. You can’t keep both alive for too long, so try to sacrifice Chewie. Han is the key to the deck because of NEVER TELL ME THE ODDS. Han has 7 fair offense cards whereas Chewie really has only 3 (or 4 with his A5D1), so there’s always a chance he can play them, reshuffle, and play them again.
