Adi Gallia

Minor(s): Stass Allie

This one came a little later than many of the others, and we don’t play it a ton, but it is fun when we do.

Adi Gallia – 8 Talent Cards

3x REVERSE BLADE
A4.  The player controlling the defending character gets 1 less action on his/her next turn.

2x SEARING BLADE
A7.  For each of your characters adjacent to the defending character, the player controlling that character discards a card.

1x PIERCING BLADE
A5.  After attacking, PIERCING BLADE does 3 damage to the defending character.

2x FAMILY OF THE FORCE
Move Adi Gallia up to 4 spaces.  Move Stass Allie anywhere adjacent to Adi.  Draw a card for each character you moved.

Stass Allie – 4 Talent Cards

2x VALOR
A6.  Player controlling the defending character may not draw cards on his/her next turn.

2x MASTER HEALING
Stass recovers up to 3 points of damage.  If Adi is adjacent to Stass, you may divide up to 3 points of healing between Adi and Stass.

Theme: Resource-denial Jedi pair
Path to Victory: REVERSE BLADE + VALOR, SEARING BLADE + PIERCING BLADE
Strengths: Resource-denial, healing
Weaknesses: Mediocre offense and defense, low-HP major is susceptible to direct damage
Strategy: Team up with Adi & Stass to take away their actions and card draws while inflicting damage
Test Level: Low
Tier: 3

Inspiration: There are many other team-oriented decks out there, but I wanted to create a team-oriented deck that beats you by slowing you down and taking your resources away as opposed to just overwhelming you with big attacks and/or direct damage.

Playing Adi & Stass: As long as you can keep them both alive, you can do a lot of damage while taking resources away. FAMILY OF THE FORCE sets up SEARING BLADE nicely. If you’re already in position to attack with both of them, REVERSE BLADE + VALOR will reduce your opponent to 1 action with no ability to draw cards, practically taking a turn away.

Playing against Adi & Stass: Not a lot to watch out for, they are fairly straightforward in what they do. Like any team-oriented deck, you want to concentrate on eliminating one of them before dealing with the other, but in this case, you really want to take down Adi if possible.  Her offense is actually quite fearsome while Stass doesn’t have much to offer if Adi is gone.

There’s a Typo on Master healer in the PDF. The last sentence just says ‘Otherwise may heal up to damage.”
